“It’s So You” finds Human Therapy in a recording studio for the first time in 22 years, and the results are far beyond what we had hoped for when this project was hatched. These eight tracks bristle with the unique collision of HT’s sound: dissonance, melody, breakneck tempos and surprising changes. Tracks include "The Wall," "Keep it Simple, Baby," and "One More." Long live Human Therapy!
“The Sky Falls,” Human Therapy’s 1985 single, has been remastered and expanded by Hot Tramp Records. This release features the title track and the B-side, “Power,” as well as a new dub remix, “The Dub Falls,” by Gavin Ross at Steady Studios. This single was the teaser for HT’s 1985 full-length, which ended up being shelved. These tracks, as well as the unreleased material, are finally available here at Hot Tramp Records on HT’s “Let It Breathe” collection.
“American Dream” is the newly remastered version of Human Therapy’s now classic four-song debut EP. This is the release that launched Human Therapy, and was originally released as DD001, on Doctor Dream Records, in 1983. No longer available only as a pricey eBay collectible, this crisp sounding re-release features the title track as well as “Domesticated People,” “Blanked” and “Is Everybody Gone?”
“Let it Breathe” is a breathtaking anthology of Human Therapy’s entire recorded output from 1981-2007. This disc contains 26 tracks from all phases of the band’s career, including rare demos from 1981, a dub version of "The Sky Falls," five previously unreleased 1985 tracks, including "Nightclubme," and material from band's most recent release, "It's So You." This record is bulging with the strange songbook of one of the most obscure but beloved punk bands ever to emerge from Los Angeles. With liner notes by the legendary Tony Brandenburg of the Adolescents. A tour-de-force of weird punk rock!
”Til I am Dust” is the much anticipated debut from California’s Mick Rhodes and the Hard Eight. The record features 13 tracks of American rock 'n' roll that critics have compared to Tom Petty, the Replacements (the band covers Paul Westerberg’s “Waitress in the Sky” on the disc!) Ian Hunter and the Kinks. "‘Til I am Dust" stomps and swaggers, then tears your heart out the next minute. Delicate, raucous, thoughtful and intense, this striking debut is making waves around the world.
